Undergraduate Student

Our lab welcomes self-motivated undergraduate students to explore their interest in antenna design, microwave circuits and systems, and applied electromagnetics. We offer various choices of special topics for undergraduates, including:

  1. Conduct an independent research project

  2. Join the ongoing research projects

  3. Participate in international student design contests, such as IEEE AP-S Student Design Contest

  4. Participate in a phased array training project

There are no pre-requisites for undergraduates. Interested students are encouraged to directly contact Dr. Chen at shihyuan@ntu.edu.tw to inquire about their plans for potential special topics. Graduate student

Applicants are expected to conduct research projects in the area of antennas and microwave circuits and systems. Interested candidates, please send your curriculum vitae, all the transcripts, and writing samples (if any) to shihyuan@ntu.edu.tw with the subject “PhD/MS Application”. Please also state your ideal career path in the email. To appreciate the effort you put into the application, Dr. Chen will read and reply to every received email with thoughtful consideration. The position will remain open until filled.

Visiting Scholar/Student

Interested candidates, please send your curriculum vitae to shihyuan@ntu.edu.tw with the subject “Visiting Scholar/Student Application”. The curriculum vitae must contain a list of links to your publications and detailed descriptions of your research interests.
